1. Why rejection hurts so much  https://ideas.ted.com/why-rejection-hurts-so-much-and-what-to-do-about-it/  Our brains our wired to dislike rejection. It talks about how when they ran an MRI rejection was in the same part of the brain as physical pain. We are social beings, since the beginning of time we have needed to be in a group to survive so rejection has been happening forever. Rejection is also a time for self evolution to think why was I rejected and to become better from it not worse.  2. Silence the Critical Voices in you head  https://hbr.org/2016/12/silence-the-critical-voices-in-your-head This one I found interesting because mental health is come to the forefront for me this year with the pandemic. Quarantine and being alone led me to think about my decisions and self reflect on my life so far. The critical voices in our head will always be there but silencing them or using them as motivation is an important tool everyone needs to know. This article basi...

1. Kumbhakarana: The Sleeping Giant  http://ackguide.blogspot.com/2015/04/guide-kumbhakarna-vol-528.html This one looked interesting to me because growing up one of my favorite novels was the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) because I always think Giants are such interesting characters. The giant is named Kumbhakarna who is able to defeat not just humans but even the god Indra. The Raksha brother goal is to convince Kumbhakarna to make a bad wish. Rama then confronts the brothers as Rama knows he can use Kumbhakarna the giant in his favor. This will be an interesting one to re tell because the main core of the story will pretty much stay the same.  2. Karma: The Good Place  https://sites.google.com/view/goodplacekarma/home I had just watched The Good Place on Netflix this past summer. The title just like the show is a trick, because you think you're in the Good Place when the Good Place is actually the Bad Place. The introduction does a great job of putting you right into the sto...

Next to them was a beautiful lake with a very cunning crane. The crane loves to eat fish and saw an opportunity to take advantage of the fish struggling in their pond. The Crane flew over to the fish and enticed the fish by telling them about this beautiful lake next to them with a plentiful amount of water. Soon, all the fish in the lake were gathered around the Crane while he went on and on about the lake he lives in with lots of water. The fish were all thrilled to hear this but also very suspicious of the crane because they knew that cranes feast on fish. They asked many questions but the crane was quite convincing. The fish gathered together to decide and wound up deciding to give the Crane a...

The Cunning Crane and the Crab  This story grabbed my attention because it reminded me of the type of books my mom used to read to me growing up where each story has a life lesson in it.  Involves multiple gullible fish and a smart cunning crane Teaches many lessons like to never trust anyone blindly Shows how even the smartest can be outsmarted How everything comes full circle https://www.kidsgen.com/moral_stories/the-crab-and-the-crane.htm

I  have chose the story Tiny Tales from the Ramanaya. I felt that these would be the most though out stories because our professor is the one writing this story. If she was willing to put in the time to write this then you know this will be the best version of the story.  2 Comic Books   Kumbhakarana: The Sleeping Giant  http://ackguide.blogspot.com/2015/04/guide-kumbhakarna-vol-528.html This one looked interesting to me because growing up one of my favorite novels was the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) because I always think Giants are such interesting characters.  The Lord of Lanka: The Rise and Fall of a Demon King  http://ackguide.blogspot.com/2015/05/guide-lord-of-lanka.html Who doesn't love a good dynasty story of a rise and fall. The roman empires always interested me so this story looks interesting.  2 Videos  Indian and Greek Mythological Parallels https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lqmNRZkGvk&list=PLrWYQjLLbXcie5DuhgxacocxvQp_5pNIX&index...
