100 Word (Same Story) Raymond lived in Oklahoma, a state known for tornadoes. He was trying to buy a new house so he could move to Oklahoma. He wound up having two options for a home: a very nice expensive home without a tornado shelter and a house not as nice with a tornado shelter. Raymond was very tempted by the nicer house. He decided to go with the nicer house and take the risk. One year later exactly the tornado sirens in his neighborhood went off and shivers went down Raymonds spine.   Overview of Mythology Video 1 - Definition of Myth  It starts by saying are myths historical facts or deliberate fictions. We really can't say for sure whether these events happened or not and these are still argued today. So we have to realize when going over these myths or literary artifacts it should just be interpreted as a lesson. The bible is a great example of how many people interpret it differently. The definition of myth is that a story is false and not to be taken seriously but many have been taken seriously. Myth comes from the Greek word Mythos which means story. Chapter 5 - Diagon Alley  Harry realizes it was not a dream and Hagrid and Harry go to get school supplies. They go to Gringotts bank where Hagrid takes Harry to his vault where he discovers his parents left him lots of money. They also go to vault 713 where Hagrid grabs something which he tells Harry is "official Hogwarts business" and Harry doesn't ask any questions. Then in Diagon Alley with Harry gets a robe. He also meets a stuck up boy named Malfoy that makes Harry worry he won't be a good wizzard. For my Free reading I've decided to read books from the Harry Potter Series. I've never read the books and only seen the movies but I've heard the books provide a lot more details. There are 17 chapters in the first Harry Potter so I will read 4 per section. I'm hoping to do a twist off Harry Potter for my 3rd story in my project.  Harry Potter and the Sorceress Stone  Chapter One - The Boy Who Lived  The Dursleys live in England and are embarrassed by Mrs. Dursleys sister who died and they pretended not to know her. This makes it so much easier after you have completed your writing. Even when reading your writing it still can feel right because you wrote it, but when it's spoken to you it's much easier to see where the mistakes were made. I will use this tech tip for other classes besides this one!
